Waistcoat embroidered in Romania and inspired by gypsy fashions. 
The waistcoat is made from black velvet and cut with a long line. The waistcoat is embroidered throughout with beaded floral and leaf motifs. Leaf motifs feature predominantly in this design with the use of gold, light and dark green lozenger shaped beads being utilised most. The beading is heaviest at the front panels and above the hem of the waistcoat. Small delicate beading is placed around the armholes and at the back of the neck. A large beaded floral motif is sewn above the hem at the back of the jacket. The waistcoat is lined with a black cotton.
