Maxi dress made from a thickly woven beige cotton. The dress is embroidered in traditional Bedouin and Palestinian techniques and motifs - with stylised florals, geometric patterns and all carried out in cross stitch. The embroidery is placed at the chest, the 'Libit' or heart area, at the cuffs of the sleeves, and in a open rectangle with a thick band of embroidery above the hem at the front and back of the dress with long lines of embroidery extending into the dress. The design is carried out predominantly in orange with touches of other colours thrown in. At the back of the dress, the collective label is stitched in. 
This dress was commissioned by Shulamit Naayman. On picking up the dress she realised the black elements in the embroidery had been omitted and requested this be corrected before taking the dress home.
