Short cape made from a black polyester with metalwork embroidery. The back of the cape is rounded and cut to reach the waist. It is worn over the shoulders with the two front strips extending further than the back. A small patch pocket is placed on either side of the front panels. Around the neckline and extending down either side of the front of the cape a embroidered band extends. The band is embroidered in gold thread in a Yemenite style, and is comprised of looped lines, tightly sewn spirals, with touches of green and red to offset the gold. Extending along the entire outer hem of the cape, a short black fringe is attached below a looped line embroidered in gold. Small golden embroidered flowers are scattered throughout the cape. The pocket openings are edged in a looped line, and feature a few gold embroidered flowers. This cape did not worn by Shulamit Naiiman, but was donated as part of her collection.
