Costume designed and sewn at the sewing studio in Kibbutz Haogen for Rikudei Am, Israeli Dancing, performances. The dress is made from an orange cotton and has a round neckline, fitted bodice and circle skirt. The sleeves are wide and bell shaped and have a large slit from cuff to elbow. The dress is embellished with bands of embroidered cotton ribbon. These white woven ribbons have an embroidered black border and filled at the center with zigzagging lines embroidered in yellow, red and blue. These embroidered details are sewn around the sleeve hem and sleeve slit, in a square shape around the neckline, and encircle the skirt 15cm above the hem. At the front of the skirt, the embroidered ribbons are placed vertically, creating an open rectangle of embroidery that ends at the waist. The dress is fastened with a concealed zipper at the center back.
