Set consisting of a jacket and matching skirt made from a textured woven wool in navy and black threads. The jacket of the set (A) is fitted at the waist and flares slightly at the hips. The fold down collar is made from a black velvet with concentric lines sewn adding dimension to the velvet. The collar is edged in a black twisted velvet rope. The jacket has no fastening but the central opening is lined on both sides with tightly placed velvet covered buttons. The central opening and the hem of the jacket are edged in a twisted black velvet rope. A pocket is placed at a slight angle at each hip. The cuffs of the fitted sleeves are also edged in the same twisted black velvet rope. The jacket is lined in navy coloured silk, and the store label is stitched to the lining at the collar. 
The skirt of the set (B) has a straight, fitted cut, and is fastened at the waist with a zipper and large hook and eye closure. Belt loops are placed around the waist of the skirt. The skirt is lined in black polyester.
