Shorts made from a blue cotton twill that has faded from wear and exposure to the sun. The shorts are cut extremely short and feature elastic at the hem giving a bloomer or balloon quality to the legs. A side pocket is placed at each side seam, and the trousers are closed with three white buttons at the left hand side. Red and purple hand stitches are visible on the inside of the waistband - as with most kibbutzim, laundry facilities were communal and marks such as these were used to identify ownership of the garment.
