Maxi dress made from a cream coloured satin. The fabric of the dress has been pleated and treated with heat to create a plisse effect. As the designer herself explained, the dresses from this collection were influenced by the work of Mariano Fortuny and clothes depicted on Grecian statues. Tamara produced dresses in this plisse style for her own brand 'Tamara' and for the Roberto Cavalli 1980 collections. 
The maxi dress has a natural waistline and straight cut. The neckline is edged with a small cream rope which extends in two lines down the outside of the sleeves to the cuffs. These two rope details at the outside of the sleeves are fastened at small intervals with 12 mother-of-pearl like buttons, The store label is stitched to the inner back neckline of the dress.
