1960s set consisting of a jacket and dress.
The jacket of the set (A) is made from a yellow textured yellow fabric and edged in a coarsely woven black linen fabric. The jacket has a boxy cut and three quarter length sleeves. Black satin lines the jacket and the store label is sewn to the lining at the back neckline of the jacket.
The sleeveless dress of the set (B) is made from a black linen fabric - the same used to edge the jacket. The dress is cut with a fitted shape, a high neckline and a lowered back. Princess line seams extend down the front of the dress and a tab detail fastened with gold buttons is added for embellishment at the front waist and back waist. The dress is fastened at the center back with a zipper and the whole dress is lined with black satin.
