Three piece set consisting of a dress, a jacket and a belt by Norman Norell from 1973. All three pieces are made from a soft jersey in cream. The jacket of the set (A) is cut with no collar and no closure and is intended to sit open. It is constructed simply with no extra seams or pockets. The jacket is lined in a cream silk and has the brand tag stitched to the inside neckline. This piece was bought from the US store 'Evelyn Byrnes' whose label is stitched to the inside side seam of the jacket. The dress of the set (B) has an 'A' line cut with a high neckline and no sleeves. The armholes are cut in a diagonal line towards the turtleneck of the dress. The dress is fastened with a zipper at the center back and is lined in cream silk. The belt (C) is made from leather with a rectangular buckle. The front of the belt is covered in the cream jersey and the rear is painted cream.
