Suit designed as part of a collaboration between Maison Margiela and H&M. The suit consisting of a jacket and trousers and is made from a black woolen and elastane fabric. 
The jacket of the set (A) is cut to fit snugly at the waist and flare out gently over the hips. The jacket has a double breasted cut and is fastened with two rows of two large poppers. The jacket lapel are cut in a traditional dinner jacket style. The jacket has a pocket at each side which extend from the hip to the hem, each pocket is covered by a pocket flap. The seams at the side of the jacket are used as embellishment and extend from the underarm to the hem. The sleeves are narrow and fitted and are fastened by a row of five poppers. The outline of all the poppers used in this piece are stitched in long stitches onto the fabric of the jacket. At the shoulders, a narrow domed shoulder pad is inserted creating a razed puffed look at the shoulder and arm seam. The jacket is lined with a white cotton at the upper back, a white satin in the sleeves and black satin for the rest of the jacket. The classic Marigiela label is stitched to the inside back of the jacket with the H&M label sewn below it.
The trousers of the set (B) are fastened with a statement black zipper at each hip. The trousers are constructed with no side seams but with protruding seams at the center of each leg. The Margiela label is sewn to the inside of the trousers at the back in such a manner that the stitched outline of the label is visible on the outside of the trousers.
