שכמיית צמר שחורה ארוכה. גזרת השכמייה עשוייה ארבעה חלקים, והיא נרכסת בחלקה הקידמי באמצעות תיק-תק באיזור הצווארון. הצווארון ממשיך לרצועות הניתנות לקשירה. בצידי השכמייה, פתחים להשחלת הידיים. לפריט אין ביטנה או תווית פנימית, ולא ידוע מי עיצב אותה.

Black wool felt cape extending to below the knee. The cape is made up of 4 pieces - two at the back and two at the front. The cape is open along the front and can be fastened at the neckline with a single popper and a hook and eye. At the neckline, a standing collar is attached and on reaching the front of the cape, it hangs free in two long strands which can either be left to hang down the front of the garment or can be tied at the neck. At the shoulders, the cape is sewn in such a way that it will stay upon the shoulders and not slip off. On each side of the front of the coat, there is an opening, made to look like a pocket, but intended for the hands, and acts as armholes. There is no lining to this garment and no label or indication as to the maker/designer.
