Set consisting of three parts - a jacket, a shirt and a skirt. This set is in the style of the classic 1960s Chanel tweed suit. It is made from two main fabrics; the first, an oatmeal coloured woven woolen fabric which has been worked in a loose rough weave giving the garment a textured surface. And the second, a white silk printed in apricot and beige tones in an abstract repeating pattern meant to resemble tweed.
The jacket of the set (A) has a fold down collar edged in a thin band of the printed silk. Silk ties of the same fabric are attached under the collar and intended to be tied in a bow when the jacket is fastened. The jacket is fastened at the center front with four large gold buttons which are embellished with an embossed design of a plain weave pattern. At the neck, two poppers are placed to ensure a secure fastening. Two patch pockets are placed each side of the central opening, each with a pocket flap edged in printed silk. The long fitted sleeves are finished with a thin band of the printed silk. An faux blouse cuff is attached to the edge of the jacket sleeves, creating the illusion of a long blouse under the jacket. The jacket is lined in an ivory satin and quilted in horizontal lines. A gold chain is sewn onto the lining above the hem to act as a weight, ensuring the jacket stays in place. The store label is stitched to the lining at the back of the jacket.
The sleeveless blouse of the set (B) is made from the printed silk fabric used to embellish the jacket. The blouse is lined in an ivory satin and fastened at the center back with five fabric covered buttons. 
The knee length skirt (C) is made the woven woolen fabric and the waistband is edged in patterned silk. The skirt is fastened at the right hip with a concealed zipper and two hook and eye closures. The skirt is lined in ivory satin, quilted in horizontal lines.
